Our Founder
David Hojah has more than fifteen years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Medical Devices, Robotics engineering, Digital Health, and Neurotech. David studied Mechanical Engineering and health management at Harvard University. He is passionate about social impact and empowering people with physical challenges to live independently. David has invented and developed many medical devices, such as adjustable dental instruments, wheelchairs that convert into a walker, a medical drone for emergencies, robots, socially assistive platform for people with disabilities, and a medical app tracking health for people with chronic diseases. He also built an autonomous personal transporter for wheelchair users that can convert any manual wheelchair into an electric wheelchair. He has been featured in many global events and organizations; such as Fast Company, Harvard innovation Lab, Microsoft, Amazon, TechCrunch, Wired, McKinsey, Verizon, Stanford, Business Insider, SXSW, and Novartis.
David has witnessed the struggles of caring for his uncle who has been battling Alzheimer's disease, and two of his friends continue to struggle with the challenges of PD and ALS. David seeks to help people like them and all others who live with similar conditions to maximize their independence. David is passionate about empowering people with neurological challenges and their caregivers.
His life-long love of birds - especially his spirit animals, owls, parrots, penguins, falcons, and eagles- informs his desire to help everyone in the disabled community uplift themselves and ascend to their own limitless potential.
